#GameChanger Scholarship

 The #GameChanger Scholarship is awarded to one college-bound female based on expressed interest in pursuing a degree from an accredited college, university, or technical institute.         Criteria may include, but are not limited to, the following:  prior academic performance, recommendation from instructors of the applicant and any others who have knowledge of the applicant's capabilities, financial need and conclusions which the selection committee may draw as to the applicant's motivation, character, ability, or potential. Criteria may also include the applicant's place of residence, past or future attendance at a particular school, past or proposed course of study or evidence of her artistic,scientific or other special talent.                                                                      
Applicants must (1) be US citizens; (2) possess a high school diploma or GED; (3) have been accepted to a two-year or four-year college, university or technical institute; (4) provide a copy of an acceptance letter and official high school transcript; (5) complete the application and submit a 750-word essay (see approved topics link); (6) submit two letters of recommendation (one must be from a teacher or supervisor).                                 

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award up to $1,000, paid directly to the institution at the beginning of the first semester and the remaining amount at the beginning of the second semester in Spring 2018.  Proof of enrollment must be provided at the beginning of each semester. This award is not renewable and previous recipients may not re-apply. Recipients must submit documentation upon completion of the program to report results.

​​​ #SisterBoost Scholarship

The #SisterBoost Scholarship is awarded to one high-school age female based on financial need and an expressed interest in pursuing academic and personal advancement via mentoring, tutoring, etc.                                                                                   
Criteria may include, but are not limited to, the following:  prior academic performance, performance on tests designed to measure ability and aptitude for educational work; recommendation from instructors of the applicant and any others who have knowledge of the applicant's capabilities, financial need and conclusions which the selection committee may draw as to the applicant's motivation, character, ability, or potential. Criteria may also include the applicant's place of residence, past or future attendance at a particular school, past or proposed course of study or evidence of her artistic, scientific or other special talent.                               

Applicants must (1) be US citizens; (2) be primary school students, enrolled in grades 9-12; (3) complete application questionnaire; (4) submit documentation to confirm enrollment into desired program; (5) submit a letter of reference from a teacher or counselor                                       

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award up to $300, paid in March 2018.  This award is not renewable and previous recipients may not re-apply. Recipients must submit documentation upon completion of the program to report results.

 The #RiseUp Scholarship is awarded to one entrepreneur with an expressed desire to expand business pursuits.                                

Criteria may include, but are not limited to, the following:  recommendation from peers of the applicant and any others who have knowledge of the applicant's capabilities, financial need and conclusions which the selection committee may draw as to the applicant's motivation, character, ability, or potential. Criteria may also include the applicant's place of residence, or evidence of her artistic, scientific or other special talent.                                            

Applicants must (1) be US citizens; (2) present a business plan and video pitch**; (3) complete application questionnaire; (4) submit three letters of professional reference; (5) consent to a background check.                                       

**May involve panel interview                                 

If selected, the recipient will receive an award up to $1,000, paid in March 2018.  This award is not renewable and previous recipients may not re-apply.

 The #SheLeads Schoalrship is awarded to one professional woman with a desire to pursue job-related training, attend a conference, obtain professional certification, etc. 

Criteria may include, but are not limited to, the following:  recommendation from peers of the applicant and any others who have knowledge of the applicant's capabilities, financial need and conclusions which the selection committee may draw as to the applicant's motivation, character, ability, or potential. Criteria may also include the applicant's place of residence, or evidence of her artistic, scientific or other special talent.                                            

Applicants must (1) be US citizens; (2) complete application questionnaire; (4) submit documentation to confirm enrollment into desired program; (5) submit a letter of professional reference (preferably from a direct supervisor, if applicable).                                        

If selected, the recipient will receive an award up to $1,000, paid in March 2018.  This award is not renewable and previous recipients may not re-apply.                                     

The application deadline is November 15, 2018 . The deadline is the date after which applications will no longer be accepted.

 #Visioneer Grant

The #Visioneer Grant is awarded to one woman with an expressed desire in entrepreneurship. This grant is women who have not yet started their business.

Criteria may include, but are not limited to, the following:  recommendation from peers of the applicant and any others who have knowledge of the applicant's capabilities, financial need and conclusions which the selection committee may draw as to the applicant's motivation, character, ability, or potential. Criteria may also include the applicant's place of residence, or evidence of her artistic, scientific or other special talent.                                            

Applicants must (1) be US citizens; (2) present a business plan and video pitch**; (3) complete application questionnaire; (4) submit three letters of professional reference; (5) consent to a background check.

Criteria may also include the applicant's place of residence, or evidence of her artistic, scientific or other special talent.
